Maintenance & Inspection Agreements

Like your automobile, generators need to be serviced regularly. We have a maintenance program with over 2,700 customers available for both air-cooled and liquid-cooled generators. The Maintenance & Inspection Agreement includes two visits a year — a minor and a major maintenance visit.

During the minor maintenance we will top off of fluids, clean the generator (inside and out), run the generator, check generator and battery voltages, and complete firmware updates.

During the major maintenance we will change the oil, oil filter, air filter, and spark plugs. We also run the generator to ensure it is working to specifications.

We save all documentation and send a copy over to you via email upon completion.

Sales / Installs

Home stand-by generators will give you greater peace of mind during power outages. We will help set up an appointment with our estimator at your home, the estimator will assess the property to find the best placement of the generator to fit county and Generac/Kohler standards, they will also figure out what size generator you would need that best fits the “must haves” in your home or to fit your whole home. The estimator will then write up an estimate for your home with the recommended size, generator placement, and work proposed. Boyland Electric strives to make the install process as easy as possible for the homeowner; we will pull the necessary permits, set up inspections, and work directly with your Power Company, Propane Company, or Gas Company to ensure you have a working generator! All installations are performed by a Boyland Electric certified employee. Once the installation is complete a technician will register the unit, set up the exercise day and time, and review all information with the owner.
